Bodegas Monje, with its views of El Teide, sits proudly in the rolling countryside of La Hollera, overlooking the municipality of El Sauzal in the north of Tenerife. Since 1750, the Monje family have been producing wine and now, the fifth generation are at the helm. Oak barrels and modern maceration systems coexist creating the special character and flavour of the Monje red, white and rosé wines, making them an essential accompaniment to Canarian cuisine. The winery also hosts cultural, gastronomic and leisure activities uniting cultural trends with its rich heritage.
