Description
The Freebird Catamaran company departs from the marina of Puerto Colon in the south of Tenerife. Either in the first three-hour excursion or in the second four-and-a-half-hour excursion, you will visit the cliffs of Los Gigantes and Masca. It sets sail in a north west direction (towards La Gomera) at approximately 2/3 miles off the coast in search of pilot whales and dolphins, which are found in their natural habitat throughout the whole year. In this environment, the chances of being able to spot the animals in the wild are very high. Once the sighting has taken place, and having experienced the joy of taking pictures of this unforgettable moment, the boat heads towards the coast. Once there, you can enjoy a pleasant swim in the crystal-clear waters of the Atlantic, together with a refreshment and a nice snack. During the four and a half hour excursion, you will also be able to enjoy the immensity of the Cliffs of Los Gigantes, which reach up to 600 metres high, one of the highest cliffs in Europe; and the wonderful Masca Bay, one of the most picturesque spots of the island. At the end of the tour, you will return to Puerto Colón, contemplating the whole landscape of the Southwest, which includes the incredible and grandiose Teide, the highest peak in Spain.
